My New Parents

You have given me a precious gift

with whom I share my life.

You raised in love the little girl

that now I call my wife.

You are her loving parents,

and I'm the lucky man,

that your little girl has chosen

to always hold her hand.

And now I want to thank you both

for all your loving care,

and being the kind of parents

the both of us can share.
